The Regulator has modified its Decision 01 of 2012. TVL and Digicel is now required to propose their terms and conditions for its interconnection services (RIO) to the Regulator before 25 June 2012.

TRR is implementing its Consumer Protection Guideline by establishing two consumer advisory Groups (Business and Individual Consumer). Consumer Protection is a Global Issue and there are many International best Practices that Vanuatu could gain from.

On 27 March 2012, the Regulator issued an Order to all telecommunication licensees. This Order requires Licensees to supply information to the Regulator that is relevant to the exercise of the Regulator’s functions, duties and responsibilities under the Telecommunications and Radiocommunications Regulation Act 2009 and the telecommunication licences.
