This is a Determination made by the Regulator over an interconnection dispute between TVL and Digicel. The Dispute is over the charges of interconnection services provided between the two service providers. Prior to this determination, both service providers did not charge any interconnection services (Bill and Keep-BAK) for mobile to mobile termination calls.
Such arrangement (BAK) is only for 2 years (2008-2010) which the both service providers will then review. Both service providers cannot reach an agreement; as such refer their dispute to the Regulator for determination. At the end, the Regulator determines the dispute using benchmarking marking as required under the Act. Below are the following rates.
