Following the Severe impact of Tropical Cyclone Judy and Kevin, the Office of the Telecommunications, Radiocommunications and Broadcasting Regulator (TRBR) is extending the timeframe on the application for the Community Telecommunications Grant to the 31st of March 2023.
TRBR understands the difficulties the country is currently going through and therefore is considering sufficient timing for interested communities or individuals to complete their application and at the same time attending to their recovery priorities.

The Community Telecommunications Grant (CTG) supplements the Government Universal Access Policy (UAP) to improve Telecommunications coverage at locations which are inadequately serve. The CTG support projects that considers telecommunications and ICT development within communities, such as the telecommunications and ICT infrastructure, service, or training to develop and support the community and local economy.
How to Apply
Applications for the Community Telecommunications Grants are currently open and will close on the 15th of March 2023.

Communities are welcome to apply at any time during this period via our online application system or call the TRBR for assistance.
