2017 Orders

Telecommunications Radiocommunications and Broadcasting Regulator's (TRBR) Order No.8 of 2017, issued on 31 August 2017,  is made based on the findings of TRBR’s Second Decision to Extend Paragraphs 3 & 4 of Order No. 3 of 2016 and follows on from TRBR’s Decision to Extend Paragraphs 3 & 4 of Order No. 3 of 2017 (TRBR’s Decision 1 of 2017) and accompanying Order 5 of 2017 to further extend certain provisions of TRBR’s 2016 Order 3, relating to Interchange Limited, for a further 90 day period.

Issued on 4 July 2017,  Order No.7 of 2017, is made approving pricing for specific sales of wholesale international internet bandwidth by Fidelity Communications Corporation (“FCC”) to Digicel and TVL. Order 7 is based on the findings and reasons in ‘TRBR’s Second Determination of Approved Prices for Specific Leased Capacity Amounts Supplied by FCC to Particular Customers’ of 4 July 2017 and is made pursuant to Order 1 of 2017 that requires FCC to seek Telecommunications Radiocommunications and Broadcasting Regulator (TRBR) approval for pricing for any further sales of capacity.

Order relating to Digicel's request for internal review by Telecommunications Radiocommunications and Broadcasting Regulator (TRBR) of its Decision relating to Interconnection negotiations with Wantok Networks.

Telecommunications Radiocommunications and Broadcasting Regulator's (TRBR) Order No.5 of 2017, issued on 29 May 2017,  is made based on the findings of TRBR’s Decision to Extend Paragraphs 3 & 4 of Order No. 3 of 2016.

Issued on 24 May 2017, Order No.4 of 2017 requires Interchange Limited to supply specific documents and information to Telecommunications Radiocommunications and Broadcasting Regulator (TRBR).
