TRR notes a number of Holders who have yet to renew their Licences have breached or potentially breached the TRR Act, further wishes to remind those Radio Apparatus Licences Holders who have not completed renewing their required Licences or have yet to validate their Licence to act on this as soon as possible. Anyone found to be knowingly operating a radio station on board a marine vessel; an aircraft or on land; a VSAT infrastructure without owning a valid Radio Apparatus Licence issued by TRR, is in breach of the TRR Act and may be subjected to a penalty and or fine. So it is advisable that you come forward and renew your Licence as soon as possible.
TRR is considering taking further necessary steps to make sure all Radio Apparatus Licensees are operating legally in Vanuatu.
