The Office of the Telecommunications, Radiocommunications and Broadcasting Regulator (TRBR) wishes to inform the general public that the Task Force Team who were team appointed by the Honourable Prime Minister following COM decision 184 of 2019, will be visiting the Provincial headquarters as stated in the table below to conduct Consultations on the Bill for Amendment of the Telecommunications, Radiocommunications and Broadcasting Regulations Act No. 30 of 2009 (“the Act”) as amended by Amendment No. 22 of 2018.

The outcome of this Consultation is for the general public to provide feedback particularly regarding the Regulatory role of Broadcasting and Media to fully transfer from the Vanuatu Broadcasting and Television Corporation (VBTC) to TRBR and to give effect for establishment of any Broadcasting and Media Universal Access Policy (UAP); and to ensure fair Competition in the Broadcasting Market Vanuatu.
