TRR has just developed and released an important consumer support tool. TRR’s “Consumer Awareness and Protection Plan 2014 and Beyond” (CAPP) informs stakeholders of how TRR will focus and increase its consumer awareness initiatives to inform consumers on their use of telecommunications services and products, and improve consumer input into determining telecommunications regulations and related regulation instruments.

The CAPP is also intended to highlight areas where the joint efforts of all stakeholders are necessary to achieve a common goal; in this case one where Vanuatu citizens are educated, protected and empowered.
