The Telecommunications Radiocommunications and Broadcasting Regulator (TRBR) thanks the Office of the Chief Information Officer and other officials of the Malampa Provincial Government Council, Officials of respective Government Departments, non-Government organisations, students in the surround communities of Malekula Island, Principals, Teachers, youth groups, women Leaders, Chiefs Council of Malampa province, communities and general public for being part of the very successful celebration of ICT day/WTSIS which for the first time is held in Norsup, Malekula Island, Malampa Province , on the 17th of May, 2018.
Your participation gave a noteworthy weight to the objective and the importance of the event and, importantly promoting the Telecommunications/ICT uptake to rural communities to fulfil the objectives of the Universal Access Policy that has been delivered by January 2018.
It also provides and avenue for community leaders, stakeholders and Telecommunications/ICT users to ask questions, seek clarifications and learn effectively from the interactions during the day and in particular on the question and answers exercise. And most importantly to have and maintain the continuity of the celebrations every year in the Malampa province.
